En la primera parte de este trabajo se repasan las principales innovaciones textuales de la Constitución de Weimar. Se atiende al preámbulo, el catálogo de derechos fundamentales, los fines del Estado, la economía y la cultura. En la segunda parte se estudian los déficits de la Constitución de Weimar, especialmente en contraste con la ley fundamental. Y, finalmente, en una larga conclusión se plantea si realmente la Constitución de Weimar fue una buena Constitución en una mala época.
