Once upon a time… An universal Constitution. Special reference to the projection of the Constitution of Cadiz in Europe

Abstract

The present research reflects how the Cadiz Constitution becomes universal. On one side, the constituents of the Cadiz Constitution of 1812 had to deal with the territory determination ideas of the new born Spanish Nation that is why, the text of Cadiz Constitution speak about Spains (in plural). On the other side, Cadiz Constitution has been the one of greater projection in our history, mainly due to its promulgation (or judgement) in many territories such us: Terraferma (Piamontone), the Kingdoms of Sardinia and Two Sicilies, Portugal, Russia, etc.
