Abstract

This article studies the origin of the concept of sovereignty in the creation of the State of Argentina, analyzing the problem between provinces and Nation, the concept of Nation in the ius gentium, and the different conception of sovereignty in the discussion about how to organize the State: centralization, federal State or confederation.
